The NISSA tournament took place at the “Centro Sportivo Mario Saini”. Six teams participated, including the St Louis School football team.
The first match for St Louis, was against Scuola Europa, where we won 1-0. For the second match, The American School in Switzerland was unable to arrive on time, so forfeited the match. It was a second victory for the St Louis team. In the final we were against the British School of Milan (BSM). After 50 minutes , the score was 1-1. Extra time was given, where St Louis hit a cross bar and a BSM defender saved a shot on the goal line.
The match continued to penalty kicks, where the BSM players used their last energies to win the game.
