Written Words

Words are everything.

We use them every day. This is the way we communicate with each other. But, what about written words? I never thought of writing. Never liked writing and creating stories. I thought there were rules to be followed but I was wrong. Yes, in school when doing essays there are certain rules to follow but not when you are doing it just because you feel like it.

This is how you do it: you sit down at the keyboard and you put one word after another until it’s done. It’s that easy and it’s that hard

— Neil Gaiman, author

For me writing what I feel is much easier than saying it aloud. Saying it aloud reminds me that this is reality, that life is reality. I don’t always make sense when I write but I know what I am talking about. It’s almost like a secret code. It is a way of clearing my thoughts to understand what’s going on inside my head. And words say so much. They help you escape from the real world.
