A Recap of Our Female’s Team Journey in the MedCup

During this year’s Mediterranean Cup, held in Verona (Italy), from the 27th to the 29th October, our young female team navigated through the Champions Group. They had the immense opportunity to compete against the most talented females around the world, showing their strength and passion for the sport.  Let’s take a closer look at their  journey, highlighting key statistics and standout performances that have defined our campaign.

Team Standings:

After completing 12 games in the Champions Group, our team secured a solid third place with an impressive total of 4 wins. This position reflects the hard work, dedication, and skill that each player has brought to the field throughout the season.

Individual Contributions:

A standout player in the squad, Martina Fabbri, showcased her versatility and prowess by contributing significantly to the team’s success. Additionally, her personal performance was marked by 4 goals and 2 assists, solidifying her impact on both ends of the pitch. 

Matilde Spada emerged as a goal-scoring sensation, finding the back of the net an impressive 7 times during the course of the tournament. Her ability to deliver under pressure was crucial to the team’s offensive capabilities.


Leadership on Display:

Guiding the team with passion and skill, Emma Catello served as our captain, leading by example on and off the field. Her influence was vital in maintaining team morale and cohesion, contributing to our successful placing in the Champions Group.

Skill Game Triumph:

One of the highlights of the season was Matilde Spada’s triumph in a skill game. These games provide players with an opportunity to showcase their individual talents and finesse. Spada’s victory not only demonstrated her technical prowess but also added an extra layer of excitement and motivation to the team.

As we reflect on the accomplishments and challenges faced in the Champions Group, it’s essential to channel this experience into future success. The dedication, teamwork, and individual brilliance displayed by our players are the building blocks for continued growth and achievement.


Our journey through the Champions Group has been marked by outstanding performances, individual contributions, and collective resilience. As we celebrate our achievements, we also look ahead with determination and ambition, eager to tackle new challenges and elevate our team to even greater heights in the world of competitive sports. “Our aim is getting first place,” said Martina Fabbri, “and we will do everything to the best of our abilities to achieve it.”
